                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 1811
                   DODDS AVENUE, BEING ON THE NORTHWEST LINE OF
                   DODDS AVENUE NORTHEAST OF EAST 19TH STREET
                   FROM C-2 CONVENIENCE COMMERCIAL ZONE TO M-2
                   LIGHT INDUSTRIAL ZONE.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
             
              A tract of land located at 1811 Dodds Avenue, being on
              the northwest line of Dodds Avenue northeast of East
              19th Street.  Lots 4, 5, and 6, Subdivision of Block 9,
              Huddle Place, as shown by plat of record in plat book 2,
              page 17, R.O.H.C., being the property described in deed
              book 1771, page 25, R.O.H.C.  Tax Map No. 156F-H-8.
             
         from C-2 Convenience Commercial Zone to M-2 Light Industrial 
Zone.
         	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, the 
public
         welfare requiring it.
